Situated at a distance of 17 km from Kausani, this famous temple on the banks of the Gomti in the Garuda Valley comprises of 12th century old temples of Shiva, Ganesh, Parvati, Chandika, Kuber, Surya and Brahama with beautiful carvings and sculptures.
It is a temple with Lord Shiva as its deity. Situated around 35 kms from Almora, Someshwar. The temple holds great religious importance amongst locales.
It the world famous glacier for trekkers, as it is easier to visit than most other glaciers. This glacier is situated between the snowcapped Nanda Devi and Nanda Kot mountains. The river Pindar originates from this glacier and located at an altitude of 3353 mts. The entire trekking route is filled to the brim with natural beauty.
Refresh the memories of 1929, when Mahatma Gandhi, spent here 14 days while writing his book on 'Anasakti Yoga'. His spinning wheel (Charkha) and other memorabilia are kept here. There is also a study with a small library where one can find books on Gandhian philosophy. The Ashram can accommodate up to 300 people and every evening prayer is conducted in the main hall.
This waterfall is a natural location with lush green paddy fields where water flows over a vertical drop in the course of a river. These waterfall can be easily watched while trekking to AdiKailash region or Trishuliparvat. There are many ancient caves which have been explored near the water fall.

Named after the famous Hindi poet, Sumitra Nandan Pant, who was born in Kausani, the Museum has the articles of his daily use, drafts of his poems, letters, his awards etc. This Museum is at a short distance from the Kausani bus terminal.
The museum gallery showcases holograph of the poems, text copies of his entire literary works in a library with all Hindi and English entertaining books by different authors.
It is situated at an altitude of 3853 mts. Many breathtaking views of the mighty Himalayan ranges are visible during the trek.
